Own my own and fixing the problems!

Yesterday I awoke to beautiful rain, but OH NO!?! a leak in the roof. A small one but, one none the less. I fretted for a couple of hours... How am I going to deal with this. Then I thought, Ericka, her husband is in construction. I called, and he is coming to look at the leak and hopefully fix it. I love my friends.

Clean House, New Bed and Well Mannered Dogs.

Well, into the 7th week of my new life... Cleaning up my house, organizing my life and getting healthier by the day. This divorce was the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I do know God hates divorce, but He hates for his children to be abused for no reason too.

Reid (my brother-in-law (Charlie's Sister's husband)) came on Saturday and fixed the front porch steps and strengthen the porch itself.

Then Andy let me buy his King size bed to replace my 11 year old falling apart bed. I got part of my bedroom clean, but the rest will have to wait until I get back from Atlanta. My best friend's Sister is pregnant and we are going to the shower (I am so excited they are going to be my family soon (when Andy and Melanie marry)).

The puppies are doing very well on the invisible fence and starting to listen better and behave better since they now have time to be outside and are controlled but can run and play and explore.

Invisible Fence Training

Ok, the Invisible Fence was installed on Wed., we started training that day. The puppies were good on the leash, they learned about the beeping, but there seemed to be a problem, the beeps were before they actually got to the flags the showed where they would get shocked if they went any further. Then yesterday the protection covers came off the posts that deliver the shock, and boy what a feeling. Hannah was not happy, but she came back into the yard. Jake was not as easy to convince, he kept testing the fence, but after the third time, he was convinced that he did not like that feeling. I think this is going to be a good thing, they will get to run and play without me yelling at them to come back in the yard... As long as the Invisible Fence Company will set the frequency correctly. They will be fixing that tomorrow.
